Rosemary Simple Syrup
and Tuscan Lemon Drop
Rosemary Simple Syrup
makes about 3/4 cup

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
3 good sized rosemary sprigs
​
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Simmer and stir until sugar
has dissolved. Remove from heat and add rosemary sprigs. Steep approximately 30 minutes.
Pull rosemary sprigs out and store syrup in sealed container in the refrigerator. Will keep for up
to 2 weeks.

Tuscan Lemon Drop
serves one
​
1 1/2 ounces gin or vodka
1 1/2 ounces meyer lemon or regular lemon juice
1/2 ounce rosemary simple syrup*
​
In a shaker combine gin or vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup. Add ice
and…shake..shake..shake. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a rosemary sprig and
lemon slice.
