Holli’s Sweet Sophie Sangria

1 bottle Sweet Sophie Girl Sangiovese ( or another full bodied red wine)

1/4 cup cognac or brandy

1/4 cup cointreau or triple sec

1 sliced orange (peel on)

1/2 sliced lemon (peel on)

1/2 - 1 cinnamon stick

Mix all together in a pitcher, let sit overnight.

Serve over ice (with skewers of fruit if you like).

Top with a fruity sparkling wine like a Prosecco or a Moscato d’ Asti…something a little sweet

and fizzy is good.
